"If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world."

while travelling recently I was sitting next to this 40 something business looking man. very serious he looked until I heard his phone ring. and the lovely theme of Harry Potter filled my ears.
“Mamihlapinatapai: A look shared by two people with each wishing that the other will initiate something that both desire but which neither one wants to start.”
do you think fate exists. the pre-planned-ness of things. maybe

ReplyDeleteThat is so cute (the ring tone)...I can never make up as to whether or not fate exists or not.
ReplyDeleteI always change my mind but I do think fate exists somewhat. I don't know, I wrote a huge paper once for school outlining what I thought but I can't find it and now I forget what I said... :p
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic quote! I love c.s. lewis, he made my childhood magical. And that's such a good story about the business man, what a cool guy!! Harry Potter is the best! xoxo
fate,i dont really believe in it coz nthn so magical has ever happened in my life.but im really waiting for my fate to knock my door and help me get what im longing for.{pl.its not related to studies)
ReplyDeletei believe we all have a purpose. and that where we are right now is where we are supposed to be. fate doesn't have to be magical. i can rarely think of examples of it being some huge extraordinary experience. just a thought a feeling that this is meant to be. and this is what i should be doing. like an impression.
ReplyDeleteand where is that photo taken? it is so magical!
